Diamondback Motocross was originally opened in 1992. The track was started by John Coen and another partner, two expert level motocross racers. The track quickly became 'THE' track to race at be most NY, NJ, CT, MA, & PA area riders. Diamondback was forced to close it's gates in 2008. Not wanting to walk away from the sport he loved, John Coen quickly secured property in East Durham, NY which is located in the majestic Catskill Region.
The new Diamondback Motocross of East Durham flew back into the racing scene just as it did when it first opened. Riders will WANT to race this track. Spectators will feel like they are sitting in the middle of the races. Diamondback uphill triple, high speed sections, fast sweeping start, table tops, doubles, whoops, oh yeah, it's on AND IT'S ON BIGTIME!!!
Racing at Diamondback Motocross:
Diamondback MX racing is sanctioned by the Metropolitan Sports Committee, also known as MSC. MSC requires either a Series Membership ($25.00 per year by mail or $35.00 at track) or a Day Pass of $10.00 per event.
XtremeScore will be at each Diamondback MX race to electronically score and time the races. All Riders must purchase a transponder, which is $5 per race bike. Riders are resposible for the care of the transponders. Transponders are to be placed behind the front number plate on the plastic surface. Do not place in any other location. Must be on a plastic surface to function.
Riders will have the ability to track their lap times and race position as well as their competitors at Diamondback MX or any event XtremeScore attends.

- Concessions for food & soft drinks.
- Limited overnight facilities. First-come, first-serve basis.
- Camping is encouraged. RV's, Tents, and Campfires OK. Reserved Water and Electric hookups available for $20 per night.
Motocross Practice:
Saturdays are the scheduled days for practice. Gates open at 8 am. Practice may vary due to special or multi-day events. Cost: $30 per motorcycle or ATV. Spectators are free unless noted on event info page.
Portable Bathrooms are available.
Gate Hours:
Open 6am on race days and 8am on practice days. Close 8pm on most race days and dusk on practice days.
Ticket Prices:
Rider Practice Fee - $30 (Spectators are Free)
Raceday General Admission - $12 (Kids under 5 free unless they are racing)
Race Class - $30 per class
